Provence is renowned throughout the world for its pale, delicate and brilliant Rosé wines.
However, Provence has always produced joyfully tannic red wines that capture the aroma of the local scrubland (garrigue).
Château Trians wines are a tribute to the past, present and future. They represent the 3 local colours (rosé, white and red) of Provence wines.
Our wines are precise, crystal clear and express the specificity of the Trians terroir.
4 Cuvées compose the Domaine de Trians wine range. These include:
The Cuvée T, a rich and strong red wine that is composed of grenache, shiraz and cabernet sauvignon. Cuvée T is an accurate expression of the Provence terroir, full bodied and full of sun. It has been aged in ancient oak casks for 18 months.
Les Mélicots is our mono plot cuvée, solely composed of Viognier. This plot is harvested by hand to preserve these fragile grapes. Pressed juices are used to make this dry white wine cuvée. The wine is fruity with strong abricot and violet aromas
Saint Clément is the name of the rocky peak covered with forest and scrubland (garrigue) that towers over the Trians vineyard. We have given the name ‘St Clément’ to our organic oak aged wines. Using oak makes our wines heady, fulfilling and well structured. Oak is used to age the wine. However, we do not seek to use the oak give our wines an “oak “taste. To retain freshness and retain the regional identity of our wines, we blend the oak aged wines with those aged in stainless steel vats.
In this range, we have red, white and rosé wines.
